TAILWHEEL INSTRUCTION SPECIALIST:

     Our goal is to provide tailwheel instruction from the ground up and to teach our pilots good basic stick & rudder skills!

      If you want to return to the "grass-roots" of aviation, or if your just looking to improve your piloting skills, we offer unique training of basic flying skills that are no longer taught in the typical Cessna mills around the country. 

      We will teach you the necessary skills of a stick & rudder pilot that your instructors never taught you before!  Dutch rolls, boxes, oscillation stalls and falling leaf stalls, all of which will make you a much better and SAFER pilot.

      We also offer unique tailwheel, stall/spin awareness training, mountain and/or backcountry experiences.  Basic stick and rudder flying. These make fun Biannual Flight Reviews!

     Learn, in either a new Maule M7 or one of our 2 beautifully restored J-3 Piper Cubs, all the skills of the taildragger pilot. Experience real short field and soft field operations, 3 point and wheel landings, taxiing, and more. Land at any of the high mountain dirt or grass strips in Washington or on the beach at Copalis.

     Tailwheel transitions, IFR, Commercial, CFI and CFII training also available. Additional emphasis placed on stall /spin avoidance and recovery training.

      Maule M-7-260-C "Athene".  We do our Charter flights and Scenic flights in this plane, and we also specialize in Maule tailwheel instruction.  This is the plane I recommend training in for my students who wish to fly a side by side, yoke control tailwheel airplane. This is a high performance airplane!
 

      This is the 4th Maule airplane I have owned and I have over 10,000 hours flying in them.  I will enjoy sharing that experience with you to help you become a better and SAFER pilot.
